An automated check of up to 100 pages, read the way a search engine reads them. It cannot see your rankings or your backlinks, and sites built entirely in JavaScript show it less than they show a browser. Speed comes from Google PageSpeed Insights; domain age from the public RDAP registries; archive history from the Internet Archive; the global rank from the Tranco list.
Privacy: the address you enter is sent to our server, hosted by Netlify, which reads the public pages of that website. We do not store the address or the results. The speed test sends the page addresses to Google PageSpeed Insights, and the domain name is looked up in public registries (RDAP, the Internet Archive and the Tranco list). To prevent abuse we count checks per visitor for one hour with a scrambled code made from the IP address, never the address itself, and delete it after that hour. More in our privacy policy.
